Smt. Yanung Jamoh Lego, born in 1963 in Arunachal Pradesh, is a renowned herbal healer with nearly three decades of practice. After serving as an Agriculture Inspector, she dedicated herself to traditional medicine, treating over 3 lakh patients for ailments like cancer, heart disease, and leprosy. Founder of Indigenous Herbal Heritage, she promotes medicinal plant cultivation and herbal awareness. Honoured with the Padma Shri (2024), she has also received the SRISTI Samman (2007), Paramparika Vaidya Ratna (2013), and Arunachal Pradesh State Award (2019).
